Help Islets of Hope

We are not professional fundraisers and receive no money, services, or special considerations for raising money for diabetes causes, nor have we been asked by other organizations to raise funds on their behalf.  We just do it.  Why?  We love quilting.  We love kids.  And we HATE diabetes.

As a business owner with diabetes, and the parent of a child with diabetes, Islets of Hope's founder Lahle Wolfe believes she has a personal responsibility to give some- thing back to the diabetes community. The Quilting Dee is just one of the many ways in which Islets of Hope is making a difference in the lives of others living with diabetes.

How Islets of Hope helps

IMPORTANT MESSAGE!  We are in proess of transferring
the free quilts for children with diabetes program back over
to IPump.org.  After 01/02/08 you will need to order
quilts directly through their website.

This site was created to help IPump, a 501(c)(3) diabetes
nonprofit assistance organization until such time as they had the
resources to manage this program on their own.  That said, as soon as the transfer has taken place this site will be completely updated.

    IMPORTANT notice
if you placed an order but have not yet received your quilt.

Due to a tremendous backlog of requests for unfinished quilts we are running behind.  I apologize for the inconvenience but my two young daughters and I currently are the only ones sewing quilts.  But I assure you we are working on your quilts!

Elizabeth, Rachel and I all truly  appreciate your patience and understanding.    Lahle Wolfe
